This was a tree that I found the day after an inexperienced tree company had "trimmed the tree". The company used a bucket truck with no climbers. Notice how thick the top of the tree is compared to the rest of it. No doubt, this was the highest they could reach with the bucket truck. This is a great example of "lion tailing".

After examining the tree, it was obvious this company had little experience or no desire to properly prune trees. Below is an example of "tear out. This is caused by improper pruning and is very harmful to the tree, opening areas for insects, disease and dieback. The branch growing after this wound will eventually dieback, and could become a hazard to the people and cars below.

This is how they left the job after they were done. After Bearclaw Arborist finishes with a tree, you won't even know we were there (by looking at the ground of course).
