We care about your trees.

These pair of locust trees were showing signs of heliotropism, (movement or growth in response to sunlight, a form of phototropism (light)), and crowding. They needed to be pruned to balance their shape and eliminate crowding for good circulation of air for healthy growth.

This aspen was planted way to close to this house. Often landscapes are designed neglecting the mature height of many trees in an effort to make the property "look good now." This aspen needed to be pruned to prevent damage to the house and promote healthy growth away from the house.

This Russian Olive had been left to grow wild. Some pruning cuts had been made in order to keep it away from the house. Russian Olive's need regular prunings to keep them from becoming a tangled bush. It is best to start pruning trees when they are still in their teen years, it takes a long time and diligent care to tame a mature tree and bring it back to a healthy and appealing tree. Again, this tree was planted way to close to the house.

This Ash had some minor storm damage and needed to be pruned. Notice there is no "center" to the tree. Pruning early on will prevent this.

Although this tree may look done for, there is still hope. Trees are often hardier than one may think. This tree still has a chance to recover from the top half breaking off. (Due to heavy snow from lack of proper pruning.) Several shoots have shot off the stub in the center of the tree. Pruning the apical meristems (the ends of all the branches) will cause the shoots to take dominance and regrow, eventually become the center top of the tree once more. This tree will require regular pruning to reshape into a large and healthy tree.

This maple is still young and simply required minor structural pruning and thining.
